Counting off:

I have written four stories that I think are truly great:

  • The Survival Chances of Harold Holt
  • On what it was like waiting for a fire engine that never came
  • Isjaki
  • Vinyl

There are a couple other stories I believe could be great in time, but those four are the highlights in my head right now.

Thus, the goal: get these stories submitted and published by the end of the year. Vinyl goes to print next weekend as part of this event here, which is super exciting. So that means I've only got three others to get out.

And if I keep up this trend of a short story a week--who knows how many more great stories I'll finish?

Exciting times.
